Born in South Dakota, Rory was raised in a home where Christmas was always a magical time of year. His parents had five children and struggled to make ends meet, yet they turned that time of the year into something their children would never forget; a time of precious moments and memories.
Everything was Christmas; from the festive music and movies to donning ugly sweaters and baking the Christmas cookies. Every year they decorated a small tree making it look like it belonged in the White House. Even in the most difficult times, those cookies and milk were placed out and Santa never failed to fill stockings and leave a special gift. His parents made everything about Christmas magical.
Most importantly, they instilled in their children's hearts the true meaning of Christmas and the reason for the season; "peace on earth and goodwill toward men."
Today Rory caries that Christmas magic with him everywhere he goes and in everything he does. He plays Santa every year and he's written two Children's Christmas books.
